Ottawa’s Suds Buds & Windmills: Who Are We?
The Ottawa Suds Buds & Windmills (SBW) was established in 2010. At the time of its creation, the main goal was to provide co-ed opportunities to play safe recreational-level softball.
Now SBW has grown into a miniature league, playing softball while also adding Futsal, Volleyball and Ball Hockey to its roster. SBW also organizes annual softball tournaments, events and charity outreaches in the Ottawa region.
SBW continues to foster new friendships and provides new experiences to young Ottawa adults to play and grow as a team.
Over the years, SBW has grown and learned with the help of its sponsors:
Dinardo's Ski.Bike.Hike and
Katimavic Massage Therapy.

Great day for a Ottawa Softball game.
Score was 20-20 (creepy lol)
Team 1 was rolling early with the Offence. Started with the first batter of the game when Marty led off with a hit to get on base, that was followed up by a Marc A hit and the offence was moving. The early offence was all for not as we only got 1 run that inning...
This year the Covid 19 pandemic interrupted the sports world in a huge way and the NHL was no different. After a couple months of discussions, the NHL made the decision to restart and finish the season with an expanded 24 team playoff format in two Hub Cities.
